The majority of my classmates felt sad after hearing my story and some even cried. The sisters, the Daughters of Mary, Lily, and Rosaleen are all devastated. After they are done, the two women go out to the hives and listen to the sounds that the bees make the inside of them.

The times when you are discovering new kinds of literature for the first time, and they open your eyes to a new world around you. The Daughters of Mary hold a vigil for May and the following day, Zach is freed from jail.

Ray hurts her by saying that ten years ago her mother was only coming back to get her clothes; that is, that she had planned to abandon Lily.

Later, the police discover that she has committed suicide by drowning herself in the river. She currently lives in Florida. She determines to discover any leftover evidence that her mother was in Tiburon even though she has no knowledge that she ever spent more than a few hours there.

Lily has a good relationship with Rosaleen, the woman charged with taking care of her, but she nonetheless yearns for her mother. It is through her that we learn about the importance of having the strength and strong women in particular.

Her vague memory of that day — when her parents were arguing and she picked up and shot the gun that her mother had dropped — continues to haunt her, and she yearns to know more about her mother.

He consents and leaves. The society of women helps August, June, and May encourage Lily to believe in herself and feel loved. After a while, Lily discovers that August did know her mother and that the woman abandoned her when she was a baby.

Some white men taunt Rosaleen and she spits chewing tobacco on them. Ray, is neglectful on his best days and abusive on his worst.

They are married to each other. The author, Sue Monk Kidd, showed us very well, by including quotes from other books and through her text, principles that should be carried with us throughout our life.
